Help answer the question about sell books online
I have several college books to sell. What is the easiest way to sell them online?I took a couple classes online, through AIU (and I would not suggest it) and now I have several marketing books that are in good condition. I have bought off e-bay, but never sold. Is there an easier way to sell books online? If not, could someone please explain how e-bay works(selling) I really appreciate it. I know I could probably figure it out, but I don't have the patience.
Thanks for the help
I usually sell mines on ebay. If you don't like that, then you can just make flyers and post it @ your school bulletin board. That usually works also.
I would try half.com (free to list) and amazon.com (free to list). They are a lot more user friendly. I would also try craigslist.com, or thefacebook.com which are popular sites for students to search for books!
Half.com or Amazon.com is where you'll get the most out of selling your books peer to peer. You will definitely not get as much selling your books back to the bookstore especially if they aren't going to use the books next semester.
u can search it through a website called alexa.com…type the key word in the top search box and u'll ge4t websites relating to it and it will search websites for you…and pls check this out and u'll love it believe me…i feel like crying its a wonderful story pls check… pls

half.com is a subdivision of ebay that I myself have used to buy and sell books. It targets the textbook and regualr book market.
for research: http://www.bookfinder.com, http://www.campusi.com (make sure to select the rare book category on the right), used.addall.com, entering the title in google will bring you to google books, also froogle.com (I am assuming these are in English, foreign searches are different.)
You could have a professional sell the books on consignment if they are valuable enough to warrant a specialist market and the commission that would be required. You could also sell them yourself on ebay or amazon. It is essential that you include any information you have on the books, their condition, several pictures, etc. (On amazon, if the book is not in their catalog, you may have to create a page if this is available to non marketplace sellers.) When listing, using the right keywords and/or categories is essential.
It's possible you didn't get many bids because your comics aren't that rare or valuable, or you didn't provide the information people look for when they buy comics from eBay, or perhaps you had a starting/reserve price that was unrealistic.
eBay really is the standard way to go. You can also try craigslist so you can find interested buyers in your area who can pick the books up and hand you cash, that way you don't have to deal with shipping or online money transfers. Or take them to your local comic book store. Unless your comics are from before 1975, any other method of selling is rarely worth all the trouble
The mystical eBay!
